i am not sure about loving going to school, but he loves coming back from there. he loves drawing, he loves using ms paint. he loves using the computer.
he starts making his birthday invite cards featuring ben 10 and spiderman one month before his birthday.
he is currently trying to make a wimpy-kid-like comic in ms paint itself because that is all he knows, and he believes he is going to publish it next year.
he loves the feeling of being on a computer.
he is always intrigued by the things his family members are doing on this little machine.
whether it is his father making conference presentations or his sister making netbeans shopping website projects, he loves standing beside them as they do it. so much so that, once, while trying to open and use his sister’s netbeans project, he deleted it and was smiling like a shameless kid.
he also loves making presentations with photos of family members and loves to use the sound icon to put his favourite songs in the background.
he also aims to publish his first animated film after two years and win an award for it.
for him, the best times of the day are: entering home after school, watching cartoons on TV (with his mom), drawing, exploring the computer. he loves playing badminton with his sisters and spending evenings with his father on walks.

yes yes yes. i am a final year undergrad in the department of chemical engineering at IIT Jodhpur.
instead of delving into the equations of process plant designs, reactors, and chemical engineering coursework, I am out here making a design portfolio which was neither taught to me formally nor was I supposed to do it, especially on the path I am currently on.
then how did we reach here?
it all starts with one singular decision after taking the JEE: that you want to go to an IIT, no matter what branch you take.
after landing there, you get exposed to a pool of numerous possibilities of careers through clubs, seniors, and college activities.
the thing that struck me was design.
I was doing dev in my first few years of college, but I was always obsessed with the nitty gritty details of how the website felt, how it looked visually. I was also deep into branding projects.
but I never thought this would be the main thing. I always viewed these things more as hobbies.
by the end of my second year, I had interned as a product designer in two startups, and in one of them I had designed the entire B2B ecosystem of the company as the sole product designer.
this kind of exposure was what I wanted as an early-stage person in this field.
going ahead, in my third year, we participated in the Inter IIT Tech Meet, and I had the opportunity to lead the product design of the Adobe problem statement there.
and guess what, our team got the third-highest score in Design & UX and the 6th position out of 23 IITs in the overall product development statement, which included AI, dev, and product as a whole as well.
that was a pretty big moment for me.
because for the first time, this thing that I had mostly considered a hobby had some actual weight to it.
and somewhere along the way, design stopped feeling like just something I happened to do on the side.
